Went to get one large (ikea) bag of washing all one colour, drying and folding only, after being told it would be 20 30 was then wrote on the slip, which I questioned and was told she said 30 because some of my jumpers needed to be hung rather than dried? The lady was rude overall. I took the bag to washem in Selby and they weighed my bag and charged me 13.80 for the same service- apologies, better service. Avoid.
Used Abbey Cleaners twice now, very satisfied with results both times. Would recommend without hesitation. Friendly and honest over achievable tasks.I took 4 tapestry cushion covers, quite old, delicate items and they have been cleaned with great care.
Just left the store unhappy and annoyed at what has been said to me. I have taken the same item there previously and not had an issue with it being cleaned. Today I was told he is refusing to put said item into his machine or even take my item as it will make everything smell. I mentioned it has been brought here before he rudely questioned when and stated well it wasnt me last time who took it I am usually so happy with the outcome of this place, however this mans rudeness has now made me go elsewhere. I rang another place straight away and they have no issue with taking my item. To also add I was told there were washing machines down the street outside of the garage I could use.

I took 2 jumpers there and they returned it smelling like wet and with the same spot ( dirt) that had before. I think they didn't even wash it.I haven't been able to remove that smell...I realize of the smell days after I picked it that is why I did not say anything plus don't want to repeat same experience. I have use many dry cleaners and is the first time that something like that happens to me.
