Came because of the reviews and all I can say is they must be paid for and fake. The building was dead, the decor is dated, the food is bland and tasteless and when the waiter came out and asked if everything was alright with the food and I told him to take the Bombay aloos off as I didn't like them and unlike any I've ever had before he started arguing with me ! Never have I experienced that in a restaurant before. He said I've been cooking them 20 years and no complaints and everywhere cooks them different , I said I work all over the country and have been eating them for 20 years and have never tasted any so dry and bland in my life. Poor food and bad attitude service... Avoid and they're lucky I gave them 2 stars.

We knew from a load of other reviews that Megna takeaway is somewhat 'relaxed' about the time taken to deliver, so we went ahead and tried it for the first time on new year's eve, knowing what to expect. What we didn't expect was the sheer quality of Megna's food, the superb variety of it, and almost as important to us, what a lovely bunch of people the staff at Magna is. The delivery time turnaround is indeed 'relaxed', but so what! When the food and the service is this good, the delivery time is very much worth the wait. Just don't be in a rush for your food. We had a Bengal Murgh and a Chicken Karahi. It was all cooked to perfection and the flavours were exquisite. These guys obviously take pride in their cooking.The following 24-hours tell you all you need to know about the quality of an Indian takeaway meal. And it has to be 100% positive on that score.We are gobsmacked at what a fantastic restaurant/takeaway we've missed out on, by not having tried the place in the three years we've been in Selby; we had always stuck to just Jinnah before, but Megna is now our go-to restaurant for food representing Indian sub-continent.
Always enjoy our meal from here. The staff are very friendly. We also have a take out from here and the food is just as good as if you were eating in the restaurant
