Very popular on a weekend so could do with s bigger car park. It's a good place for an afternoon walk, you can make it as challenging as you want by going off the normal path which is good in autumn and winter but gets a bit too overgrown in the summer. It has a nice friendly atmosphere and is good for dogs and kids.
It's a lovely place, i just wish people would pick up after there dogs !! When you've got two young children with you and they step in it and have to walk all the way home with it on there wellies, it's not nice !
Great walk if wet and muddy paths solid and dry
Fantastic little walk not too far from York, ideal for dog walkers or casual walkers. Route isn't very long (only about 25/30minutes) plenty of dogs on the route and some nice spots to sit down. A good place to go and clear your head. Some lovely views of the surrounding countryside and fields and some nice foresty photos to be taken like the one attached if it's a sunny day.
Great place to walk your dog or just general have a walk lovely view and great for the kids
